The Morgantown office maintains six substations, 1,078 miles of line and serves 8,563 members. We recently completed a three phase line upgrade and relocation in Ohio County, near Cromwell. After conducting our pole inspection program, there are about 40 poles that need replacing. Work is in progress on Grancer Road with building a new tie line to help improve service reliability. We are upgrading line equipment on Highway 70 East in Butler County. From the Aberdeen substation to the Perdue substation and to the South Morgantown substation, we will be conducting maintanence work on transmission lines. In October 2005, breaker change-outs and the installation of line fuse protection devices will be completed in the Morgantown, Woodbury, and Aberdeen areas. |
