Member Deposits

Residential: $200 minimum
(Includes mobile homes and rental property)
New members who sign up for electric service and have a favorable credit report are not required to pay a deposit.

Non-Residential: Determined by Usage
(May be a Letter of Credit from a bank or other financial institution, a Surety Bond or a Certificate of Deposit assigned to Warren RECC)

The membership fee and the deposit are applied to the final bill. If there is a credit, it will be refunded. If there is a balance due, it will be billed.Membership fees are transferable from one person to another in cases of death, divorce or other special circumstances. Membership fees and deposits are also transferable from one location to another upon payment of a service charge. A deposit is subject to refund after two years of good payment history.
