AUTO PAY
We call it Auto Pay - You'll call it easy and convenient! With Auto Pay you'll never have to worry about late payment fees again. When you're out of town or just too busy, Auto Pay will pay your electric bill for you directly from your checking or savings account. We even offer Credit or Debit Card Auto Pay (Visa or Mastercard only)! Your bill is paid automatically on the due date - never early, never late! You'll also save money from buying stamps to mail in your payment.
If you receive Social Security benefits, we have a special Auto Pay program just for you if your electric bill is due after the 10th of each month. You simply authorize your bank to pay your electric bill from your checking account on the fifth day of every month. Using
this auto-pay method eliminates late charges, postage and trips to the Cooperative. Call us to see if you qualify to participate in this program.
Once you've signed up for Auto Pay, you will continue to receive your electric bill statement but it will be marked "Paid by Bank Draft."
It's really easy to sign up for Auto Pay. Just call any Warren RECC office and request the necessary forms to enroll.
LEVELIZED BILLING
This is a convenient, budget-wise way to pay your electric bill. You receive an "averaged" bill each month, thus avoiding the budget strain of paying larger bills that occur during the winter (heating) and summer (cooling) seasons. To participate in Levelized Billing, you must have lived in the same location for 12 months and have a zero balance on your bill. The following graph demonstrates monthly averaging:
