March 5, 2023 (Bowling Green, KY) 9:30 a.m. Warren RECC staff and crews continue to work alongside visiting crews to fully restore power to our members. As of 9:30 a.m., we have approximately16,700 members still without power. We made strong progress overnight and look forward to another productive day.

We have continued to receive additional crews through the evening and early morning, and we are expecting approximately 7 more crews to arrive today. We will have a total of 29 additional crews with us from states as far away as Florida helping us restore power. Crews have each been assigned specific outages to work. Their assignments are part of an overall plan for restoring the remaining outages as quickly and efficiently as possible.

At this point, we have 191 broken poles and 629 outages. We continue to ask for patience as we restore the remaining areas. They sustained significant damage and will be challenging. We are working around the clock to get power restored as soon as possible.

Once again, we would like to remind everyone to avoid work areas. We want to keep everyone as safe as possible during our restoration efforts.

We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available. Please remember to stay away from downed power lines. If you see a downed power line, please report it to one of our outage lines: In Warren County call 270-843-9710. Outside Warren County, call 1-888-604-4321.
