Electrical safety is important to everyone, and we want to make sure our members are well-educated on the dangers of electricity as well as the proper safety precautions.
As part of our commitment to safety, we have created a mobile safety demonstration trailer and program appropriate for schools, businesses, and civic organizations. The program covers how to avoid the dangers of objects such as kites, trees, antennas, and grain augers coming into contact with energized lines. It also covers situations such as downed power lines and traffic accidents. Each demonstration lasts between 20 and 30 minutes.
