In 1938, Warren RECC was founded by a group of local people who wanted to improve their lives through electricity. Disregarded by large electric companies who refused to come to the rural areas, our founders decided to bring electric service to the rural areas themselves. Today, Warren RECC provides safe, reliable electricity to our members in all or part of eight counties in southcentral Kentucky. Though we have grown over the years, we are still owned by those we serve, we are still operated locally, and we maintain our unique entrepreneurial spirit.
Since our inception, we have earned a reputation for determination, innovation and operational excellence.
